He’s got some great stories, particularly in the 1st part, where he described the large numbers of men he knew who didn’t make it in recovery, the horrors of how they ended up. And he told a wonderful parable little-known in this country (from Indian poet Rabindranath Tagore), of the poor man who reluctantly gave alms to the King (only to later discover that the pittance he’d given was replaced by nuggets of gold, and then he cried out wishing he had given his all). But it is a long rather dreary talk overall, preachy, with a grand intonation more suited to a statesman addressing the nation than a spiritual man addressing his fellows.
