This talk was made at the 1961 Blackstone Retreat in Blackstone Virginia. He also spoke there in 1963 following Clarence Synder.
So moving, funny, entertaining, wonderful, and inspiring. “Truth cutting through” to me is the way my experience, need, and suffering enabled me to come back to the rooms despite years of argument, disagreement, resentment, fear, and willful striving, simply because I was lonely.
May we all rise in such everyday miracles of human capacity.
