     Joe made me realize I am a blessed recovered alcoholic not a grateful 3yr recovering alcoholic. I get sick of hearing that from someone that is 40yrs sober. Wake the fuck up your recovered man !

       I never want to forget where I came from. It’s called humility.

       Thus, for me:
       44 years down 24 hrs. to go.
       “Recovering” keeps me Humble. the “ed” may be coming from the built-in forgetter.
