Inspirational and assuring for the newcomer, reaffirms the only requirement is the desire to stop drinking. Her story includes coming to meetings, drinking in between but the seed being sown and when she was ready it took root culminating in 14 years sobriety (1993). Having courage to accept both failure and success equally. The importance of change once sobriety starts, in attitude, with action, steps, sponsor and the importance of continued attendance at meetings, no matter the length of sobriety. Lovely, articulate lady.
