When I think of how many meetings of AA I attend, its amazes me how there is not a Big Book in sight. I love my Big Book, when Peter talks about his emotions and connection to The Big Book, and “connecting the dots”. When I read the Big Book my heart squeezes and I feel so overwhelmed with gratitude. When I look back, after a long, and stubborn fight, me against me, and see a trail of dots, at that moment, every time, I hit my knees. Thank you so very much for such a great message about a teacher and student. I listen to Speaker Tapes, ( moving from my collection of cd’s) I learn so much. I have tried to explain to I’m sure 25 plus AA friends of mine, nobody EVER listens… I just can’t figure it out. Thank you Peter for emphasis on 164 pages that are just a beginning. Again, I have reached a point, if you want what I have been blessed , sobriety, read. Your description about the “dash” that’s going in my pocket to every meeting. That’s the best description of exactly how I feel. You are right on target, God, how can I ever give back what has been given to me so freely. I’m tired of “tippy-toe” sponsorship. Excellent! Thank you. I look forward to listening to many more of your AA Speaker Tapes…
