Great for the newcomer… tunes into those in their first 30-90 days immediately. Suggests identification, description of allergy & obssession of the mind, progression of the illness and fatality of the disease. A lovely “old timer” with some humourous stories, but to the point and a well rounded talk. Gives the newcomer hope that he/she is on the first step by just turning up to AA and holding up their hand. I love one of his quotes towards the end… “24 hours is one flight in life, and the 12 suggested steps are the checklist”.
