This was a good talk about sponsorship. The bit about psychiatric medication was a momentary aside and wasn’t the focus of this talk. I have bipolar disorder and have been sober for 10 years. I am one of us who have grave emotional and mental disorders but I have recovered because I have the capacity to be honest. I take lithium and an anti-depressant as prescribed by my doctor. I hope the stigma against mental illness in society and certain circles of AA continues to die out.
